The journey takes under two hours from Istanbul directly to the hotel. The hotel’s private helicopter is available for transfers from Dalaman or Bodrum airports, taking only 25 minutes. By car, D-Hotel Maris is 30 minutes from the city of Marmaris and just over an hour and a half from Dalaman airport. There is also a 100ft super yacht and two motor yachts – the Sunseeker Portofino 48 and Azimut 55 – available to guests for private charter.

The resort has 200 luxurious and elegantly appointed rooms, all with exceptional mountain or sea views, with most deluxe rooms featuring bathtubs on their balconies. The Duplex Presidential suite is spread over two floors, with bedroom, dining, living and meeting rooms and a sauna and Jacuzzi on the roof terrace. The luxurious spa at D-Hotel Maris is immaculately designed in natural stone, with dark wood flooring and traditional decorative touches, including magnificent Romanesque columns and marble plinths. A large relaxation sun deck offers exceptional views of volcanic mountains and sparkling seas, and provides access to both the indoor and outdoor pools. There are four gourmet restaurants and seven cocktail and wine bars to choose from at D-Hotel Maris. SPICE, the fine dining Ottoman-Asian a la carte restaurant; The Breeze, offering Aegean cuisine and famous for its fresh grilled fish; The Bay, situated on the main private beach serving a snack menu during the day and international buffet in the evening, and The Terrace, a breakfast buffet restaurant. The seven bars include: Aqua Bar, located on the main beach; Bar 180°, overlooking the bay on the ground floor of the hotel with an exceptional 180° view; El Vino, a fine wine, whisky and cognac bar, and the glamorous Coliseum, situated at the tip of the peninsula, which acts as a beach club by day and a nightclub by night, with DJs, live bands and shows three times a week. Water sports
The exclusive bay offers the best water sport facilities in the area, including water skiing, wakeboarding, windsurfing, windsailing, an international sailing school and certified dive centre. D-Hotel Maris is a fantastic location for water enthusiasts, as not only does the water sport school house the finest equipment and trainers, it is situated by a flat, calm, private lake in the bay area, while on the other side, at the tip of the peninsula, the sea has winds and waves where the sailing takes place.
